Dear Reader,
How are you? I truly hope all is well on your end. I’ve just sat down for a little breather with my coffee and some tunes before the day pulls me in for the ride and I thought I would pop on here and share a few bits I’ve pondered, learned, or heard through this, that, and some other. So if I may...
Here are 5 things I found worth noting:
“Don’t you know that, Everything changes...” This song by Julia Jacklin is currently playing as I type and I’m kinda feeling it. It is true though, everything changes.
“Welcome to introvert happy hour! All readers welcome...BYOBook” says Silent Book Club. After watching a segment on Good Morning America about the silent reading parties trend phenomenon, I rushed to tell my husband the good news! “That sounds terrible!” says extraverted not so much a reader husband. Okay, so maybe it won’t be our next date night. But I’ve already mapped out a few silent book clubs in my area and making plans to give it a try as soon as possible! If a sense of community in silence resonates with you, perhaps find a local chapter near you.
While apple cider vinegar has been proven to have many health benefits, it is quite potently acidic. I’ve recently been informed by my dentist that my teeth enamel is suddenly eroding. The only thing that has changed on my end is adding a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in my water each day. So, I now rinse my mouth out after drinking my apple cider vinegar water. Maybe I was supposed to know this (google certainly does), but I didn’t. Something worth noting!
After several years out of the music scene due to health challenges, Celine Dion is ready to fight her way back on stage. And we the people will have the privilege of sharing that journey with her through her new documentary “I Am” airing June 25th on Prime. “My voice is the conductor of my life...I miss it so much. The people, I miss them. If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl. ...I won’t stop!” says the legendary vocal queen. My calendar has been marked.
A quote that jumped out at me while reading Joanna Gaines “The Stories We Tell”: “We can be tender and ambitious. Sensitive and strong. Shy and vocal. Fearful and courageous. That’s the gift of vulnerability. It lets us feel one, then shows how to become the other.”
Thank you so much for reading.
Love,
I chuckled silently a couple times while reading your interesting article. Your husband the extrovert doesn’t think community silent reading sounds fun! What?? Haha sounds kinda interesting to me and I have been known to be an extrovert at times. 😉 I have also heard that apple cider is good for you yet some people find it bothersome and causes heartburn ❤️🔥. I have dabbled in a little bone chewing myself. lol 🤣
That does sound like Joanna Gaines.
I caught the tail end of a Celine’s interview with Hoda and she discussed her ailment. However she did belt out some partial tunes.
Introvert book club sounds interesting. Have to explain that to me!
