Dear Reader,
Happy Monday! I hope your weekend treated you kindly. So, I have been in the mood for a good show!! A show with amazing music, captivating entertainment, and all that jazz. And since New York has been on my wish list to visit for ages. In today’s mood board I’m sharing a mini scrapbook of the shows that are on my radar this summer in New York City.
Stella K. Cole
If you have not heard the beautiful voice of Ms. Stella K. Rose you are in for a special treat. Her voice is amaaazing!! For fans of Judy Garland, Sinatra, Michael Buble, and the like, please do yourself a favor and experience this woman’s talent. She is expected to host a sold out tour this summer and is at the top of my wish list to go see. But if attending a live show isn’t feasible, her Instagram is always sprinkled with little live videos to help carry us through our day when needed. I’m also hearing rumblings of a debut album coming to us very soon. Can’t wait!
Justin Timberlake
I highly doubt JT needs any type of introduction. Bottom line - he is an amazingly talented artist, he has a new album out, he is currently on tour, and I want to go! And if your on the market for a great coffee table his book “Hindsight & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me” is a wonderful option. It’s filled with beautiful photography and valuable insight into his genius mind, talent, and creativity. This “Like New, Hardcover” is only $7!
Stereophonic Broadway Play
This Broadway Play (w/ music) seems to be hitting headlines everywhere! While they say the story is not based on Fleetwood Mac it is hard to ignore the similarities (just saying). The show has been such a big hit they have extended their dates out to January 2025. This is good news people! Here is an interesting interview with the cast should you desire to know more about the 13 Tony Award Nominated phenomenon. It really would be a dream to go see this.
Well I hope you enjoyed my mini scrapbook of upcoming shows I want to go see. Thank you so much for reading. And in case my dreams don’t come true and you manage to make any of these shows, please do tell me all about it. I’d love to hear!
Have a blessed week.
Love,
I can remember when the term stereophonic was something new!! Lol
I haven’t heard the music from the first one but love the style.
The only Broadway show I saw many, many moons ago, was the Rockets. I was in Girl Scouts and our troop took a trip to New York.
